Out longer than in!

Cade & Carson are officially older than the amount of time they were in utero! Really it was the beginning of September, because they were born at 7 months gestation. The doctor says not to even factor in the prematurity though, because they are at the developmental level of most babies their age. A quick update - they're 7 1/2 months and 18 lbs now. They crawl sometimes up on hands and knees (very new accomplishment) but most of the time the inching army crawl. They are still much more efficient at rolling to get where they want to go. They love to play and read books. They also love to have their pictures made.

Daddy is very talented! He feeds us breakfast in the mornings when Mommy goes to work! We love to play in the afternoons when Mommy picks us up! These were two of our favorite events of the day today!

Seven Months Old

Bath time and play time are so much fun now! The twins do the GI Joe man crawl all the time and are "talking" up a storm! They would stay in the bath all day if we would let them! But they are content to sit together and play with toys or bibs or just arms - whatever the other one is showing off at that moment. Loads of fun!

6 Months Old! The twins are now 6 months old!!! They are scooting around everywhere and really trying hard to crawl. The pediatrician says he thinks they'll be walking before a year old because of how strong their legs are. They "talk" all the time. They especially love to pull their pacifiers out and talk to them for a while before putting them back in. They enjoy holding hands, rolling all over the floor, laughing at Daddy and snuggling with Mommy! Cade and Carson are the best blessings the Lord could have ever given us! Here's a recent picture. Cade is on the left weighing in at 17 lbs, 2 oz. Carson's on the right weighing in at 16 lbs, 14.5 oz. They are our little heavyweights!

Cade gets a little help from Mommy with the sippy cup for the first time at 5 months old! We started with water in the cup! A couple days later we tried rice cereal!
