Merry Christmas!

We enjoyed Christmas so much this year - it's definitely better with children. We had a lot of fun - every little bow and tag, each bag and piece of tissue paper, boxes and presents alike - it was all investigated and appreciated by our little Christmas boys! The boys learned the true meaning of Christmas! We taught them about God sending His son Jesus as a baby to save the world! They listen so intently and love their books about the Christmas story!

Here's Papa teaching Cade how to ride the Pony!
Here's Nana teaching Carson about the Manger Scene!
Here's Suzi playing Nana's computer!
Everybody's having fun playing!
They grandchildren loved all their gifts from Papa and Nana!
So much that they tried one out all together instead of each getting in their own little cars!
Papa and Nana got the babies rocking chairs!

Cousin Suzi walks around with the adults as Cade and Carson crawl behind!

Then she crawls over to the twins!
Here's 2 of my beautiful cousins Tonya and Kelly!
Great-Grandmama enjoyed playing with the babies!
Suzi helped everyone open presents! When we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus, she looked up like: "It's my birthday again!"
The boys had fun with Grandpa on Christmas Eve!
Grandpa and Grandma got an early present - picture of the boys!
We took a family picture!
Here's Great-Grandma Ree with the boys!
Someone was getting Carson to open presents too early!
Here's our house on Christmas morning after Santa Claus came!
We woke up the babies to see what Santa Claus brought!

Santa brought the twins guns to hunt with when they get big like their Daddy!

Here's the boys enjoying the big bag with a train inside!

And here's Cade playing in one of the boxes!
Daddy and Carson are helping cousin Austin figure out one of his presents!

And Grandma gives Austin a present!

Grandma and Grandpa gave the boys a plane!

And a schoolbus!

We gave them a picture of their children and grandchildren!

And here's our family!

Cade and Carson really enjoyed Christmas!

They like all their toys, but usually one at a time - like both of them playing with this ball when everything else is right there!

It's a little better when Mommy's not making them pose for a picture, I guess! Well, the boys wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here Comes Santa Claus!

The twins got to meet Santa Claus at Kevin's work! They had a very nice Christmas Party for the children of all the employees! Cade and Carson were in awe of Santa Claus. They were so amazed! They would hardly look at the camera. Cade is sweetly putting his nose on Santa's soft suit here!

Here Carson is telling Santa he thinks they've been good!
And finally a picture of them looking - the only one we got! They just love Santa Claus that much!
And here, Cade is telling Santa Claus to remember they want guns like Daddy!
When they got home, they went straight for the toys - this really is straight down the hall from the back door.

On Wednesday, the boys had their first Christmas Party at DayCare! They enjoyed it very much! Here's Cade going after the big Teddy Bear from another baby at DayCare and Carson playing with the Puppy Dog another friend gave him! They also had fun picking out gifts for the other children earlier in the week!

We'll just say they're always busy. Cade is trying to get a berry off one of the pencil trees by the stairs! And, no we don't put up all 12 trees like we did before babies - we just have 9 up and 5 are little 2 or 3 ft trees up out of their reaches!

Carson really loves this dog! Cade is "having a ball" or two. A sweet friend gave him and Carson these cute light-up balls!

Thanks for all your concern, everyone after the crazy sick week last week! The boys do not have to do the Albuterol treatments anymore, and their ears are clearing up. They have definitely had a fun week. You'd never know they got a virus. Carson threw up 5 times Wednesday night! We thought it was from the Augmenten and sent him to DayCare, but we found out they had a lot of kids (5 out of 12) sick, so Daddy stayed home yesterday with them and ended up getting sick. Then Mommy had to leave work at 9:30am to come take care of all three boys! They're all fine now, and we plan to make our way to see Papa and Nana for more Christmas celebrations! We'll have new pictures soon!

Who's sick now?

The answer to the question will follow shortly. First, Thursday was our Fourth Anniversary!

Sick #1 and # 2 are Cade and Carson. Well, the twins were both getting over their recent colds and starting to rub their ears, so we knew what that meant. Double ear infections for Carson and one for Cade - the Doctor told us Thursday. We did not count on the wheezing/raspiness to be such a big deal, but the boys have bronchiolitis. Now we also have to do nebulizer breathing treatments every 3 hours (which takes 20 minutes per baby). Poor little ones! They don't act like anything is bothering them, though. Here's Carson watching Cade get a treatment this weekend! Then, Cade tries to tell Carson how to do it in the next picture!

They haven't been in those baby bouncer seats in a long time - since they figured out how to get out of them and land on their heads! But they didn't seem to mind them too bad - I think they knew Mommy was a little overwhelmed, and they were trying to be good patients! Thankfully, they still found time to play around their scheduled treatments, medications, feedings (boy, do they eat), and naps!

The guys all enjoy napping together on Sunday afternoons!

Last night, the boys enjoyed the Christmas Play at Church! Here they are with Daddy and his cousin Hunter!

Sick #3 is Mommy. Thankfully, for your sake, there's no picture of this. I've been pumping breastmilk for the boys since we left the hospital to measure and make sure they were getting enough at the beginning since they were so premature. Anyway, they have continued on breastmilk the whole time with added formula supplementation for about two months when they were in a big growth spurt. I've been pumping about 50 ounces a day, so we have a good bit frozen that we want to use up before they switch to whole milk at 1 year old. I decided this weekend was a good time to cut out one pumping session. Then I was going to wean down over the next few weeks. Well, let's just say my body freaked out last night. I had a 103.5 temp after putting the babies to bed last night and a pounding headache along with what we'll call some huge red rocks under my shirt. Let me just say you don't want to get Mastitis. I am feeling better after several doses of antibiotics, advil, and sickness, but the huge red rocks are still there. It hurts so badly to hold the boys right now.

Sick #4 is Daddy. Last, but not least because this one was scheduled. Kevin is gone right now to have his wisdom teeth out, so we will all be babying each other tonight! Thankfully, Kevin's sweet parents are coming over after I take the boys to the Doctor for their follow-up appointment regarding the bronchiolitis this afternoon! We're all praying they won't have to do those treatments anymore.

Here's a video of the boys playing one of their favorite games - Ring Roll! They throw the stacking rings - watch them roll with a look of: "How did I do that?" - crawl after it - and do it all over again! They're such little engineers!

this week

Well, we have been quite active again, and Mommy has forgotten the camera quite a lot again! We did enjoy the Christmas parade Saturday and the Live Nativity at church tonight! Here's a couple of fun times we had this past week! I still have not figured how to rotate pictures on here to make them straight up, but here's Carson and then Cade with the cute bibs Papa and Nana recently gave them for more interesting Daddy time at the mall! As if he needs help getting attention!

No silly heads - that is not the way you play with the exersaucer!

Here's one of Mommy's Christmas presents!!!!! Thanks Daddy! Mommy loves the pictures of the boys now framed in the dining room! It will be perfect once we have the year old montage made and hung, too!
Merry Christmas, everybody!

Ten Months Old!

Our boys are getting so big!
And so handsome!
Sometimes they still need extra attention!
Cade and Carson enjoyed helping Daddy and Mommy start to decorate!
They are all over the place now: to this side, to that side, going up, going down - wherever they can go!
