The Circus Came to Town!

We went to the circus this afternoon with my friend Niccole and her family!
Here's Michael, Carson, and Cade (Alex was asleep on Niccole's shoulder at this point)!
Niccole and Michael say cheese when we get to the seats! Here's Mrs. Niccole, Mr. Mike, Alex, and Michael!

When it started up, Alex covered his ears for a minute! I thought this was cute!
Cade and Carson were very excited that it was starting!
They actually watched a lot of it intently! (Much more than I thought they would!)
This guy was walking "way up high" all over this spinning contraption and inside it like a little hamster. I kept thinking he was going to fall. Of course it was after the motorcycles rode around and around in a cage together and crashed into each other. Yes, they actually wrecked. I don't think that was supposed to happen. The driver that wasn't hurt pulled the bike off the other and he got up and waved like nothing happened. Crazy!
The tight rope guys were cool!
Cade and Carson liked watching the elephants during intermission!
At the end of the circus, I asked each child individually what was his favorite part of the circus!
Here's the answers of the children in the order they appear in this picture:
Cade - "Valentine /BaentIn/", Carson - "I CarCar", Alex - "My favorite part was Penny." Michael - "The Elephants!" By the way Niccole - I think I heard the /f/ sound on favorite!
Such a handsome group of boys!
The children decided to run circles around Niccole until time to go back in the big tent!
We saw camels and elephants and dogs and ponies and people do lots of tricks!
This man decided to be shot out of a cannon!
Here's Michael's cute reaction (hand over mouth)! After the man was shot straight at us into a big net, he turned to his Daddy and said, "I do not want to see that movie again!"
Here's the Big Top from the outside when it was all over! The boys had a blast!

Happy Easter! Jesus is Alive!

We ate pancakes for breakfast this morning! Daddy told the boys the Easter Bunny may have come to visit them and left them Easter Baskets!
Cade took off to look!

Carson saw them first!
The Easter Bunny had hidden them on the stairs!
Carson loves his blue Mickey Mouse sunglasses!
Cade loves his red Mickey Mouse sunglasses!
The boys enjoyed eating some of their Easter candy this morning!
We went outside to try out the new bubbles before going to church!
Cade is chasing bubbles!
Carson tries to catch the bubbles!
Daddy made millions of bubbles!
I overexposed this picture but I wanted to post it anyway, because I think Cade and Carson are so cute in it!
Carson looks like the little Tea Pot here, so I had to post this one, too! He actually puts his hand on his hip a lot! I think he was pointing to a bubble and got sidetracked by the camera!
Carson and Cade are ready to go to church and celebrate our risen Savior - Jesus Christ!
We played outside at Grandma Ree's house after church and Easter dinner!
Cade and Carson kinda enjoyed hunting eggs!
They really just wanted a blue egg for some crazy reason!

Backyard Fun!

On Saturday morning the boys decided to hook up their trucks to their "boats" (the legos boxes were the "boats") with the puppies riding on the boats!
They are actually very good at backing with trailors!

Then we went outside to help Daddy with the outdoor kitchen! Mr. Kenny, Uncle Adam, and Grandpa helped Daddy lift the big cabinet and set it in place!
Cade and Carson decide to work in the backyard, too!
Carson carries some blocks out to help!
Cade wants to help, too!
They like to help Daddy measure everything! Notice the shorts are different - Cade had sat in a puddle earlier, so we had to have a quick wardrobe shift. Blame it on the rain!
This is the road they built. Well, they never said what it was, but I guess it's a road or a parking lot because they brought their little red cars over once they got all the blocks placed in a line!
Time for a ride in the wagon!
Cade got out to pull Carson in the wagon!
Daddy grilled cheeseburgers and we had a picnic in the truck!
The boys sure do love their Daddy!

Good Friday!

Daddy worked on the outdoor kitchen he is building!
Carson hauled some pine cones around in the little red car!

Cade chose to carry sticks!
Then they lined up the cars with the wagon, and Cade yelled, "Choo Choo!"
And of course they drove their tractors, too!
Then we played with lots of Easter baskets and eggs and decorations!
We decided to hide eggs for Daddy to find! These are the eggs Mommy hid!
These are the eggs Carson hid. Do you think Daddy will find them?
