Who's Scooby and Who's Shaggy?

We always unload at the back door near the laundry room. I heave both infant carseats in from the van and then start unbuckling. Most days, the boys take off for the toys and then I put their carseats away (I am not sure if it will be better with the big boy carseats Papa and Nana got the boys, because then I will have one on my hip or roaming around in the van or garage while I unbuckle the other baby, finally carrying them both in together. Surely it will be better than carrying in both carseats. No wonder I weigh so much less than I did before I got pregnant, huh!And up to 140 this time last year! Crazy! Perplexing thoughts! We'll find out this week when we start using the forward facing carseats all the time!). Anyway, this day they were very interested in the laundry room for some reason.

And this day I took off their messy shirts from Day Care. They could be in a Carter's Jeans ad!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Oh - wow! And this day they both - count 'em . . . one . . . two - slept til I had to wake them up to drink milk and get ready for Day Care!
Cade up top (left side of the room) and Carson here!
These are just some fun pictures I thought I'd share to show how badly they both need a haircut! They will have their first haircut on their first birthday! We're all taking the day off and having a fun day to celebrate. We'll have a party to follow over the weekend! Notice Cade's 4 teeth here. (Carson also has 4 now.)Cade from the side - notice he looks like he's still posing . . . he's just smiling and talking to Carson in his high chair on the other side.
I apologize for the goofy looks - the boys were eating breakfast before having their hair brushed early in the morning before Day Care (where they eat a second breakfast - my little porkers) and these were the best of the shaggy hair! And over Carson's ears! Kevin says they look like girls when it's wet from the back, because it really does go down a couple of inches. Thankfully, there's cute curls to draw it up!

I should've taken pictures tonight and video of them laughing - it's so cute! One baby always thinks I'm tickling him when I'm tickling the other and vice versa, so one baby is laughing hysterically and the other baby, not even involved, is laughing just as hard! They crack me up!

Who needs a pillow . . .

. . . when we have each other!?!
Look what Carson's new favorite thing is! And Cade says, "It wasn't me, Mommy!"
Carson and Cade both actually love to open cabinets and drawers and drag stuff out now!
Mommy has to do the messy meals when Daddy is at work late!
Cade and Carson like to try to feed themselves!
And their hair and feet and whatever else!

Another week in view!

Here's the little ones pulling down the toys off the toy chest!

And then wrestling for the lamb . . . as if they don't have two!
Cade is ready to eat!
And so is Carson!
And here they are again enjoying the view outside - rain!
We like to crawl around and play after nap time!

Happy New Year!

This is the year the boys turn one! I can hardly believe it! Update on them:
-They are trying to walk and trying to stand up without holding on to anything
(that seems to be more important to them than walking, for some reason)
-They have 4 teeth for Cade and 3 for Carson
-Carson says 4 words and Cade says 3 words
-They are almost out of frozen breastmilk and seem to like the whole milk
-They love to drink from sippie cups
-They don't want baby food anymore - they love table food
-They especially love balls and remotes or phones

Here they are with their favorite view of the yard!

And then they decide it's time to move on for now!
Then they try to crawl up the stairs!
Here they are helping Daddy make breakfast Saturday morning!
They decide it's time to play before we go shopping!
They love all their toys, but they especially love this toy from Uncle Adam, Aunt Joni, and Austin! They want Austin to come play with them!
Carson says: "Daddy and Cade - don't take a nap now. We're going to go for a ride in the stroller while Mommy is shopping!"
Cade and Daddy say, "Ok, that sounds like fun!"
The twins really do nap a lot, about 14 hours of sleep a day still. But today they're taking an extra long morning nap! We hope it will make them feel better - the ear infections and upper respiratory infections are no fun. Daddy is gone to teach the Sunday School lesson this morning. When they get up we'll go to Grandma and Grandpa's house where they've made some homemade chicken noodle soup to make the boys feel better! Here's the babies after I just slipped out from underneath them! Aren't they sweet!

Cade was resting up on my chest . . .

. . . and Carson was resting down on my legs!

11 Months Old!

. . . a little late!

The boys are Tom Cruise'n it in white shirts with socks (some missing) and undies! (Reference to when Tom was cool and still sane.)
Carson playing with a toy from the "Little People" collection!
Cade is playing with his little person that we named "Lila."

Anyway they are getting close to a year old - it's so hard to believe! We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed us so much with these precious babies!
