What a crazy week!

We've had licensure at my work and Vacation Bible School at church! I "taught" the nursery class. Here's part of us! We had 8 the first night, 7 the next two nights, and 8 again last night. Two more nights to go!

We're having a blast and learning a lot about the love of Jesus and the ABC's of Christianity! And our survey at work was excellent! And I got to talk to a friend today who had her baby very early. The baby came home this week after many weeks in the hospital and surgery - he has been a huge prayer request of Cade and Carson's since he was born. He is on the same type of monitor that Cade and Carson were on. Praise the Lord he's doing so well! Our God is so good! We have so many blessings to thank Him for!

Austin's Birthday Party!

Austin was ready for lots of fun at his 5th Birthday Party!

He used this big slide more like a launching pad to jump into the pool of water at the bottom!
Cade and Carson had lots of fun playing in the puddles on the big tarp.
And they were thrilled with watching their big cousin!
They even found how to climb up to the slide! (They each got to slide, too. No pictures since I was a little busy at that point.)
Carson liked Grandpa's hat!

Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to Austin!

Cade played on Austin's tractor!

And Carson had fun grazing!

Our UpstateTrip!

Cade, Suzi, and Carson watch the dogs from Nana and Papa's back door!

Carson enjoyed the ball at the pool - even though the water was super-cold from all the hard rain in the middle of the night!
Cade likes to splash in the pool!
Carson decides to monkey around!
Cade makes bigger splashes!
Cade and Carson have fun at the lake, too!
Papa and Cade drive the boat!

Uncle Ned, Suzi, and Nana are having fun!

Carson is a good first mate!

We played at a little island and took a quick family photo!

Daddy and Mommy rode the tube while the babies entertained the adults on the boat!

Carson loves to ride Papa's pony!

Suzi had fun teaching her young cousins! I know she will be a great big sister to "Baby Dot" (what the newly expected baby looks like on the ultrasound)! Hooray for Uncle Ned and Aunt Suzanne who will be great parents of two toddlers - I know the qualifications!

Cade is driving with Papa again!

Cade wanted to be a big boy and sit in his own chair this morning, so of course, Carson had to get out of the high chair and sit with his brother!

Daddy is taking the picture of Mommy, Carson, Elmo, Papa, Cade, the pony, and Nana before we had to leave this morning!

Carson is playing with his new toy from Papa and Nana on the way home. They were so thoughtful to get the boys interactive toys to have on the way home to prevent the whiney, fussy portion of the ride. A 4 - 5 hour drive (depending on the amount of diaper changing stops) is hard on the little guys. They got antsy after we passed Columbia, so we got out the new toys and the boys were so amazed by everything they did - it kept them occupied the rest of the way home! Hooray for Grandparents - always making sure we'll want to come back! Of course we would go back anyway, but that definitely made it a lot easier to talk about our next trip to the Upstate!

Cade is playing with his toy, too! We switched them a couple of times on the way - like getting another new toy! We had a great weekend with family and a much better ending for this trip!

End of May Fun!

We set out to go fishing Saturday morning! Here's Cade riding in Daddy's truck.
Here's Carson riding in Daddy's truck. Here's Mommy with the twins driving Daddy's boat! We had a fun picnic and even did a little fishing til the rain came. Daddy rushed us back to the landing and carried both babies all the way back to the truck and loaded them up to keep them from getting soaked!
Fun times with Mommy's extra swimsuit on the way home!Back in pjs after bathtime Saturday night!
Carson loves to try to stand on his head!
And the boys have figured out how fun it is to stand in their rocking chairs!
Rabbit face - I just thought that display of teeth was just too cute! They have 6 and 7 teeth. Those molars are finally coming all the way through. For a while you could see the tooth in two places because the center of it hadn't broken through the gums. They're eating more again now, so it must feel better.
More playing!Carson likes cousin Hunter to hold him!

Carson and Cade walk around with Uncle Ricky in the yard!
Cade checks out Grandma Ree's waterfall before going home for a nap!

Playing this week!

Here's Cade and Carson playing under the table in the breakfast nook one morning this week!

Here they are about to swap cars one afternoon!
Mommy tried to get a picture of each of the twins with the oak trees Daddy planted for them when they were born.
Cade above with his and Carson here with his oak tree. They're growing so nicely. He is not actually this skinny - he's sucking in here as he cries and tries to get back to me. They each weigh 23 and 1/2 lbs.
And I had hoped they'd never find these stairs. We'll let you know the first time one of them falls off the porch. Yikes. Time for Mommy to get quicker!
The boys had their first night with just Daddy one night this week when I went to a seminar in Columbia. They did great and even talked to me on the phone - "Hi."
