Christmas Eve at Grandma Ree's!

We kept in line with all of our Christmas traditions and went to Grandma Ree's house (Kevin's Grandma) on Christmas Eve! Here's Kevin's cousin Dustin with his fiance Ashley holding Kayla's baby Chandler!

Here's part of the crowd celebrating!
Some of Grandma Ree's great-grands!
Some more of the big crowd!
All the food with Uncle Tiny, Great Grandma Ree and Aunt Poochie!
Cade opens his piano from Great Grandma Ree!
Carson opens his, too!
You cannot tell how excited he is about it here, b/c he really loves this keyboard!
Then my crazy husband called Austin, Ian and Chase over to open a box full of balled up papers and throw around the room - as if there wasn't enough going on - these boys loved it!
Our boys even got into it a little bit!
Chase makes a big throw as one is going right by his head, too!
Eli was so content to keep playing right in the middle of the floor!
And my boys made a spot to get down and play their new pianos among everyone's feet!
Here's some more of the crowd!
Playing with toys!
Oops - socks came off!
Someone said: "Let's try to get all the great-grands by the Christmas tree for a picture, so Carson, Austin and Ian went over close!
Then Kellan, Eli and Cade joined them!
But the others (14 total great-grandchildren, I think) didn't come and only Carson was really ready of these 6, so no great-grands picture!
Our family took advantage of passing the camera to Uncle Ricky for this group photo!
Aunt Poochie loves to tickle the twins!
At this point, the boys each had a cup of nilla wafers after going back and forth to the table to snatch more (I think Aunt Wanda filled the cups for them)! Uncle Tiny is pretending to be a musician! He eventually had to cut that thing in half so the boys could both copy him!
When we got home we prepared a bowl of goodies for Santa! Cade wanted to show it off!
Then Carson wanted to show it off for the camera!
Well, here it is ready for Santa on Christmas Eve! We had to add chocolate powder, because Santa must like chocolate milk!

Gingerman House - Take 2!

Daddy got all the pieces out of the box to build the fort from Nana and Bopa T.!
The boys were excited to play in it at every step during the building process!

Carson and Cade look out the windows of their new house! They told me that Saturday night at my parents' house that they had two gingermen houses now. I thought they were talking about the cookies they made with Aunt Karen. Finally I realized it when they told me they liked their Gingerman House upstairs! We put it together in the attic, because that is our new project location. Last year, we spent all our free time building the deck/patio/outdoor kitchen. This year, we will spend our free time getting the upstairs ready to be finished. We've done lots of cleaning and organizing in the attic to get everything out of the "rooms" that will eventually be the upstairs! The boys have had limited toys up there as we've been cleaning/organizing, so they were thrilled that we put together the Gingerman House / Fort Cade and Carson up there!
Carson likes it!
Here's Cade showing that they had just as much fun playing in the box from the fort!
Checking out the Advent Calendars that night!
They are so cute trying to "read" the little cards I've written on!
Remember that we ate the decorations off the gingerbread house that the boys originally called the Gingerman House! So here we are again - we decided to re-decorate the original Gingerman House!
They enjoyed putting new little dots and kisses on this time!
Everything was carefully placed!
They were good at directing each other with where to put each candy piece!
Leftovers were yummy good!
Putting little M&Ms down for stepping stones this time!
Of course, we had to eat a couple of those, too!
Then it snowed!
What a beautiful redecorated house!
Then we made gingerman cookies to play at the house!
Everything was good!
Then we needed a bath!
They are good at rinsing themselves off!
My sugar-pie and sweetie-pie!
All clean!
I knew the time would have to come - my little boys have realized they can make those yucky boy noises on their arms!
Pretending to be asleep!
Coming down the stairs for another surprise from the Advent Calendar!
Looking forward to Christmas to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Pictures from Christmas morning soon to come!
