Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to our Nana, Grandma, GGM Viv, GG, Great Grandma Ree, and Great Great Grandmother Dowell! And all other mommies that we love!

Daddy, Cade, and Carson gave Mommy lots of fun stuff including this Instant Scrapbook to put pictures in after our Disney World trip this summer!
Here we are in the nursery after the Mother's Day Breakfast at church!

On the Fridge!

Cade and Carson just made these beautiful pictures one day this week. The Crayola Beginnings crayons are so fun for them. Too bad they like to eat the crayon part. I decided to hang their colorful artwork on the fridge! Then they put pictures on a Mother's Day card for me at Day Care today! Aren't they so sweet! I'm pretty sure Carson actually colored where they wrote his name, but I think they had to help Cade hand over hand because it looks like a pretty good x.
Aren't they sweet! The calendar with them all over it is on the side of the fridge!

Boat Ride!

Cade and Carson went on their first boat ride today! As you can see from the following pictures they loved it! I presume we will have them in boats a lot this summer! Thanks Grandpa for letting us ride in your big new boat! We had fun on the river! We look forward to riding in it again and in Daddy's boat and Papa's boat on Lake Keowee back in Seneca!
That's Cade with his tongue stuck out again! Here's Carson riding with Mommy!
This is Mommy's favorite Conway Bridge from the Waccamaw River!
The boys were pretty laid back - they thought they were so cool with their sunglasses and lifejackets on! Thanks Nana and Papa for getting them lifejackets for Easter! They're only partly unzipped here so we could get to their mouths while feeding them turkey sandwiches and chips while anchored for a picnic - we zipped them all the way back up when they were finished eating!
The boys loved splashing in the water with Grandma and driving with Grandpa!
Oh, yes - Cade and Carson are 15 Months Old now! They both weigh about 23 pounds and are a little taller than 30 inches! Cade (oldest by 11 minutes) weighs a little more and is a little taller. Carson loves to copy Cade whatever he's saying or playing with or follow behind him walking. Cade hates when Carson comes to "share" his toys. I try to explain to him that he's the big brother and Carson looks up to him, but he doesn't understand - so he screams/squeals and shakes his fists! They are so funny! Anyway, Dr. Rabon says everything is on track and they're doing great! They are always center stage at the Dr.'s office, so they absolutely love going there! But hopefully we won't be back til 18 Months (copays are bad two at a time)!

Children's Festival!

We went to the Imagination Library's Children's Festival at the Dixie Stampede this morning! The boys had lots of fun. Here's Cade talking to the firedog!
And here's Cade and Carson petting a real Dalmation!
They're so coordinated - Cade has an Elmo cup and Elmo sunglasses and Carson has a Cookie Monster cup and Cookie Monster sunglasses!
Here's our friend Wendy that we met on the plane ride home from California! She operates our favorite restaurant - Chick-fil-a!!!
Carson's chillin' as Cade tries to check out the Police Officer's jet ski! They liked wearing their Police Badges!
They got toothbrushes, coloring books, pencils, cups, frisbees, magnets, straws, and more fun stuff. We also got to enjoy free hotdogs, Pepsi, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts!!! Yummy!

CheeChee!

Carson and Cade are driving the car at Red Bone Alley in Florence Saturday night before dinner.
After dinner we went to McLeod Hospital to check on a friend who had major back surgery. Please pray for Mr. Mark!
And here's the pretty blue bird that Cade and Carson love! We have a birdhouse (Christmas present to Mommy from Grandma and Grandpa) outside that has been the entertainment at meal time. It's right outside our breakfast nook window, so the boys can watch the birds flying around from their high chairs! They say birdie for the bird, however one day last week we asked the boys what they wanted to name the bird. Carson said, "CheeChee!" And that has been the bird's name ever since. They actually now call all birds CheeChee. I was trying to get them to say birdie again on the boat today, but they were saying CheeChee for any bird they saw! Silly boys!
He loves to fly to the windowsill and jump and peck getting Cade and Carson very excited. He and Mrs. CheeChee just had babies in the birdhouse!
