Myrtle Waves!

The boys are backing their "boats" (baskets) into the "water" (kitchen floor) as we wait on time to go to Myrtle Waves this past Saturday!
They took to playing in the water right away when we finally got to the kiddie pool!
MacKenzie was playing on the log as Austin was caught mid-air!
Laney is having fun in the water, too!Carson thinks everything is funny!
They loved playing with their beach toys!
After a brief nap in Aunt Joni's car on the way home, Cade made a bed on the couch and said, "I go night night with Doggie!"

Pre-Vacation Travel!

We're setting out to get to Florida for our 7 day Cruise to the Virgin Islands on the Disney Magic! Yes, I said it, a Disney Cruise with these two-year old boys! Who knows - they may be the only 2 year old twins who have been to Disney Land, Disney World and on a Disney Cruise at such a young age! We're so blessed!

We took off on Friday, too! We spent that day driving 8 hours! Here's the boys as we're about to leave the driveway with pancackes!

We stopped to eat at Jim'N'Nicks - the most yummy BBQ restaurant ever! We found it in Destin probably 4 years ago and the closest one to us is Bluffton, SC, so we have not been until now!

Back in the car the twins stayed pretty entertained with toys and DVDs - aren't they growing up so differently than we did? And probably our parents would 've said the same thing!

Eating McDonalds cheeseburgers (the boys' favorites) in our hotel room in Cocoa Beach!

You'd have thought we were already on the cruise - they were having so much fun!

They would climb up on one side and climb down on the other!

This was our view off our balcony!

And this was our view in from the balcony!
The boys came to love this astronaut and later during the week on Mickey's Boat they would ask to have their picture made with "OctNot"!!! It took us a while to figure out what that one was!

At Ron Jon's Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach, FL! They're all tired of pictures already and we haven't even started!

That is Ron Jon's from the outside!

Goodnight Sweethearts! We'll see Mickey Mouse tomorrow!

Disney Cruise - Day 1!

Today's the day - we're so excited!
Breakfast at the hotel!
The boys sat with Daddy to finish up their breakfasts!

Carson and Cade enjoying their bananas - but not letting go of their favorite firetrucks!
Showing each other what big bites they can take!
One last picture with the astronaut! Actually every time we passed him they'd set down everything they were holding, take his hands, and smile for the camera all because of the first time I asked them to do this - they really are such little hams! That bodes well since I took over a thousand, yes 1,000+, pix on this vacation alone!
Daddy, Cade and Carson watch out for the luggage as we wait on the shuttle to the port!
Daddy, Carson, and Cade going in through the Mickey Ears!
We checked out the boat as soon as we got on! Here's Mickey's pool!
Chip and Dale were the first characters we ran into!
Dale is standing with Carson, and Chip is standing with Cade! And isn't it cool that Dale is wearing blue and I always dress Carson in blue (if they're wearing coordinating outfits - so Carson would have the blue and Cade would have the red!)!
This was the terminal!
Carson took a nap while Cade waved at everyone as we waited on our stateroom to be ready!
The boys immediately started playing!
Carson found the T.V., and Cade found the remote!
We did not actually douse them in the ocean from the back of the ship as it may look here with life jackets on - We had been swimming before doing the safety evacuation drill!
Cade fell asleep during the drill and slept as I carried him all the way back to our cabin and continued to sleep for about 30-45 minutes more while we unpacked the suitcases! I must say, we have instilled a good safety habit in the boys b/c they constantly asked about wearing their life jackets - they know they have to wear life jackets on a boat! Hope this didn't confuse them too badly!Carson and Daddy at Lumiere's! We rotate here tonight, Animator's Palate tomorrow night, and Parrot Cay Monday night! Then we continue in that repeat order the other nights!
Mommy and Cade!
Cade and Carson holding hands in line to see Mickey Mouse on our first day!
Carson gave Cade a hug!
A family picture with Mickey!
This is "Brown Mickey" or so named by these two little ones!
A snake before the show! Turndown service was nice!
He had the puppies in the twins' bed, too!
Carson and Cade like their bed turned from couch!
What a great first day! How much magic could there possibly be?!!!!!

Disney Cruise - Day 2!

Sunday was Mother's Day and we celebrated in style! I can't think of a better place to be than on Mickey's Boat with my 3 babes!

Breakfast was yummy!

We went out and saw the water!

We rode the elevators and explored the ship!

We went to the theater and watched Bolt!
It was Bolt 3-D in case you can't tell by looking at my adorable husband!
The boys sat there and watched the whole time with a little help from some M&Ms! I didn't know they'd sit through a whole movie!
Back to the top of the boat - Cade loved watching the water out of any window!
We went to Mickey and Minnie's Dance Party!
I am holding Carson line dancing right behind Mickey Mouse, and if you look close you'll see Cade reaching for Mickey while holding my hand!
We crashed hard for nap that day! I got up from right between Cade and Carson to take this adorable picture!
Carson, Daddy, Mommy, and Cade are all dressed up for the Formal Dinner on Mother's Day!
This was the first night we tried the bibs on the boys!
Carson is saying: "Take this off." Can you tell they don't wear bibs at home? We stopped with bibs shortly after they stopped eating baby food - definitely before age 1. They're just too grown up for bibs!
Look how grown up and handsome they look in the suits! This is what they enjoyed doing - coloring the menus every night!
Look at two of my handsome princes!
Rodel our server got the boys parmesan cheese every night with their entrees, because that is their favorite!
Mommy loves these two handsome princes!
What cute towel animals for Mother's Day!
We checked out the top deck at night!
And almost got blown away!
