Happy Thanksgiving!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Thanksgiving Dinner today! Here's Carson checking out the fun little train set that Grandma set up in Uncle Adam's old room!
Thankfully, they really are napping now that we're back home!
Wow - so many things we are so very thankful for! Family and friends of course, a great place to live, great jobs and day care, but mainly God's gift of Jesus' grace and mercy to save us even though we don't deserve it! We are so thankful for God's protection over these boys according to His great purposes in their lives! We are so blessed to have this wonderful family!

Showering baby Billy Bob Dot IV boy Dobson
I thought it would not feel so fast paced, since the boys and I decided to leave Conway after their nap Friday. I was wrong! I will not be driving that interstate (I-20) going west from 4 to 5 anymore during standard time. That was awful having the sun in our eyes with all those crazy drivers. We made it in 5 hours to Seneca with a stop for diaper changes, bathroom, dinner, and bathroom again at McDonald's. The boys never want to go to bed, but it was much worse when we got to Nana and Bopa's house after bedtime since they really didn't get to play long. Here they are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Saturday morning with Bopa!
And here's Suzanne at the shower - getting her corsage in place thanks to Aunt Judy!
Yes, it is a boy. No we have not been priviliged to know the name! Hence the ambiguous title of this blog!
Here's the boys at the shower - so grown up at their own table feeding themselves!
And having their own mini-conversation as they eat!
Suzanne gets ready to open presents while Brother and Mrs. Ruth get excited to see what the baby will get!
This Teddy Bear that my unruly children unwrapped (yes, they pulled out all the tissue paper) was the reason for the "siren cry" which occurred directly after I took this picture!
And Carson and Cade decide to test out the baby boy's box which had all the camo crib sheets, blanket, bedskirt, curtains, and diaper bag from Brother's friends at work (Drive Thru Pharmacy) - he registered for all that camo baby stuff at Cabela's!
Great-Granddaddy Bob attempts to look after the twins as they jump on the box! He had just come from the hospital from finding out he has a blood clot in his leg, so please pray for Bob Owens!
Grandmama and Granddaddy are in the middle of eating during the present opening since they were fashionably late from their adventures at Oconee Hospital!Stay tuned for pictures from our adventures on the ride home Sunday!

Hot, Mommy, Hot!
Cade and Carson "Help" with almost everything I do. It really warms my heart! They help me with the dishes by putting them in and taking them out of the dishwasher, they help me with the trash by throwing things away "Tash"(they are not allowed to take stuff out of the trash - yucky), they help me with diaper changes by handing me stuff I need, they help me with taking pictures, they help me with folding laundry, they help me with carrying the laundry basket to the laundry room, they help me with putting laundry in the washer (when I hold them up to throw it in) and the dryer (I hand it to them out of the washer and they throw it in) and back into the basket once they're all dry, and now they have recently even started asking to take their current clothes off ("Coat opf", "Hat opf", etc.) to put them in the washer before bath (it started with their socks the other night). I love that efficiency. And now after stressing "Do you need help?", "Thank you for helping!", etc. Cade has started saying, "Help me!" instead of crying for something!!!!! We'll work on the "Please!" later, for now I'm thankful for words instead of whining when something is needed!
The other night while I was cooking dinner, Carson and Cade had their own little way of helping.
I was holding Carson while seasoning chicken on the stove-top (I know that's bad, but it was the back burner and I had him on the hip away from the stove) Kevin was at an out of town business meeting and Cade had just upset Carson by not sharing his toy he was pushing, so of course it was just easier for me to pick him up and distract him. Well, he noticed the chicken and seasonings starting to boil and said, "Hot, Mommy, Hot!" and proceeded to lean over and blow as if he was going to cool it off like it was hot food on his plate! I thought it was the cutest thing, so I took a picture of him doing it!
And then, of course, Cade wanted to do it, too! Notice he doesn't pucker the same as Carson, but he cools off the food nonetheless (well, at least when it's not on a burner with high heat)!
