Easter Egg Hunt

All the little ones get ready to hunt! Carson found 8 eggs and Cade found none (but a sweet friend Hannah gave him some)!
Cade and Carson enjoyed sliding!
Everyone tried to get together for a picture at the end!
Then we went inside to eat! Although it doesn't look like they ate their hot dogs, they did eat a couple of bites and also had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before chomping down on their yummy cupcakes!

Carson and Cade had fun eating with another set of twin boys, Aunt Joni, Austin and all the sweet girls!
Cade got icing all over his face! Aunt Joni's cupcakes were delicious!
Aunt Poochie helped the boys open all their candy!
The boys stopped one more time by the doors to check out the treat bags before going home for nap!

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

Daddy's Birthday was April 1st! We picked up the boys and went to Miyabi for yummy dinner! Then we went to Bass Pro Shops! The boys sang Happy Birthday to Daddy! I couldn't believe that Carson knew all the words and the tune to sing it by himself. It was so cute!
~Happy Bir Day to Lou, Happy Bir Day to Lou, Happy Bir Day to Daddy, Happy Bir Day to Lou!~

They're looking at the twin fish!
I attempted an Easter Photo Shoot by myself one day this week!
I hope to get better pictures on the actual day, but you never know how crazy it may be!
The outfits say their names - they are adorable! (A friend of a friend made them.) Thanks Kelly!
This almost always happens in our photo shoots - I captured it this time!
This one shows the names a little!
And from two weekends ago, here's the boys playing with Suzi at Nana and Bopa's house! I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of that precious baby boy Zane!!!! He was so sweet! I got to hold him - not nearly long enough though! That was the crazy weekend when Kevin got super sick and I pulled my back out!
And last weekend we had fun playing at Papa and Brama's house!
They love the little fish pond fountain!
The boys started calling Grandma Brama most of the time now. I don't know if they're confused since we made them start calling Papa (my Daddy) Bopa when Suzi said it that way, or if they just wanted to say it that way now!
Papa, Cade and Daddy in the yard!
Yesterday after nap we played outside!
And took several snack breaks!
Now we're looking forward to the Easter Egg Hunt at Church this morning!

Haircuts and Batman!

We went for haircuts again this afternoon! It seems like we've been a million times since they turned one, but it's probably only been about 9 times! Cade usually goes first since he's the big brother (and more b/c Carson cried the only time I let him go first)!

Mr. Rodney does such a good job with them. They'll sit right there and let him work. He always has plenty of lollipops on hand. Mr. Rodney said he bought Dum-Dums this time thinking about the twins, b/c they usually bite right into the regular suckers! He thought it would take them longer to get through these suckers.
Carson's turn! He has actually been asking for a haircut for a couple of days now. Guess I let it get too long.
He figured out how to bite into the Dum-Dums anyway and got another before Mr. Rodney was done cutting.
He gave them green suckers for the way home! (They were watching Franklin!)
At home, the boys wanted to holler out the window at Austin!
Austin thought it would be a good idea for me to take a picture of him with his Batman mask on!
Carson and Cade are brushing their teeth before bath time!
Carson likes to swim like a fish!
Cade likes to swim like a fish, too!
Well, ok, there's not much room for two swimming fish!
Carson's spikey hair fell down!
Cade loves making spikey hair!
The boys were so sweet tonight cuddling up with Mommy to read books while Daddy was gone to a meeting. I should've taken more pictures, but I just love to enjoy all the sweet times all to myself!

Our weekend!

Carson and Cade enjoy playing at Great Grandma Ree's House! They have actually started climbing the ladder and sliding without me going up any! They're just growing up so much!

Sliding is so much fun!
And they were glad to be back outside on this pretty afternoon, too! Tongues out and all!
They were happy to eat yogurt on the deck!

Two Years since the Due Date!

Wow! Praise God! It's so easy to forget that they were premature! Of course they were both 2 months early and only 4 and a half pounds when we took them home from the hospital! Definitely premature. As easy as it is to forget that they were premature and teeny-tiny, I'll never forget what they went through. We pray every day for the Lord to bless them - to keep their hearts beating and to keep them breathing. It's the daily miracles that I'm so thankful for! I know the Lord has blessed them greatly and that He has amazing purposes for their lives! It takes God's control to keep a baby that little breathing with a steady heartbeat. I know it! I've witnessed Him doing it every day! And I know it's Him keeping them now and helping them to grow healthy and strong! I love seeing what He's doing in their lives every day!
